Tutorial Intro

Welcome to the AppKeyId tutorial. This guide will walk you through the basic steps of using AppKeyId to create and share attested communication cards.

Getting Started​

To begin using AppKeyId, sign up for an account at appkeyid.com.

Once your account is created, you will be able to authenticate using a FIDO2 passkey. AppKeyId uses passkeys to verify your identity and help ensure that communication and acknowledgements are tied to a verified user.

Create a Card​

A card is the basic unit of communication in AppKeyId. You can use a card to write a message, provide instructions, share information, or attach supporting content.

After signing in, create a new card by entering a title and writing the card content. The card can then be saved and prepared for sharing with another user or group.

Share your Card​

Once your card is created, you can share it with another AppKeyId user, a friend, or a team.

When the recipient opens and acknowledges the card, AppKeyId records the acknowledgement so the sender can see who acknowledged the card and when the acknowledgement occurred.
